Community Foundation’s 2017 Spring Grant Cycle Opens

Mississauga, ON, March 1, 2017:  Registered charitable organizations serving people in Mississauga can now apply for a grant through the Community Foundation of Mississauga 2017 spring grant program. Applications and full details about the funds receiving applications are available through the Foundation’s website www.CFofM.org and visiting the pages for grant seekers.

Community Foundation of Mississauga Honoured as 2011 Non-Profit of the Year

Mississauga, ON, October 24, 2011: The Mississauga Board of Trade recently announced the winners of the 2011 Business Awards of Excellence and included in these awards was the announcement of the Community Foundation of Mississauga as the Non-Profit Organization of the Year. Presented annually, these awards honour the efforts and accomplishments of Mississauga businesses, organizations and business people that have exemplified outstanding leadership, success and contributions to the economic and social well-being of Mississauga.

Community Foundation of Mississauga Surpasses Million Dollar Mark

Mississauga, ON, May 21, 2010: The Community Foundation of Mississauga will announce the 2010 grants totaling $720,000 at their Annual General Meeting being held May 26, 2010 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Riverwood Conservancy in Mississauga. This will bring the cumulative grant making of this young community foundation to $1.6 million and represents welcome news for charities serving people in Mississauga.

The Community Foundation of Mississauga hosted the second annual "100 Holes, One Day" Golf Marathon on August 26th, 2009 at the prestigious Legends Course of Lionhead Golf and Country Club. Fifteen new and returning golfers teed off at approximately 7:00 am and played 100 holes of golf, finishing at approximately 6:00 pm for dinner and awards.
