Mark your calendars for the 3rd Annual “100 Holes, One Day” Golf Marathon!

Legends Course, Lionhead Golf and Country Club
The 100 Holes, One Day Golf Marathon is an exciting and unique golf experience, one like no other. Limited to only 50 golfers, this event will give you and your fellow golfers the exclusive run of the entire Legends course, all day. Each registered golfer raises a minimum of $3,000 in pledges and plays up to 100 holes in just one day. All food and beverages will be included, from breakfast through to a well-deserved dinner at approximately 6:00 pm. Each registered golfer will have their own personalized “giving page” which is the fastest and easiest way to collect pledges.

The Community Foundation of Mississauga will host its annual Donor Recognition Event on October 29, 2009 in the auditorium of the Mississauga Civic Centre. Beginning at 7:00 pm, the hour long event evening will celebrate individuals and organizations that are helping to build sustainable community vitality through outstanding acts of philanthropy. Special guests will be on hand to pay tribute to these donors including Councillor Katie Mahoney and Mississauga-Streetsville Member of Parliament, Bonnie Crombie.

The Community Foundation of Mississauga hosted the second annual "100 Holes, One Day" Golf Marathon on August 26th, 2009 at the prestigious Legends Course of Lionhead Golf and Country Club. Fifteen new and returning golfers teed off at approximately 7:00 am and played 100 holes of golf, finishing at approximately 6:00 pm for dinner and awards.
